FLASH: flickering

I have a button made with flash that seems to flicker when pressed. Has

anyone else noticed flash doing this? Is it something I did wrong when I

created the button? If I just open the .swf file, there is no flicker.


I am using IE4.01 on Win/NT.

I ran the same page on IE5 and the flicker was gone.


any insight would be greatly appreciated. thx
