FLASH: Actionscript: Collision

Hey everyone,


Having a bit of a time wrapping my head around this what should be easy

process. I checked out the tutorial that Colin Moock provides on this and I

understand the logic behind it but I can't seem to get the process to work.

Does anyone know of any other tutorials on collision techniques/methods? I

am basically trying to have an object be movable around the screen via arrow

keys (which I have done) but when it *bumps* into something it won't move in

that direction. I hope I am making sense.
