Cheri, many thanks! You're right, it works
(http://i-technica.com/flash/passvarshell.html), but I'm still baffled about
why, as I've always put vbscript along with the html (separated out with <%
tags) in my other asp pages (and they work fine). Can any other of the ASP'ers
on this list (Tony, redstar...) clue me/us in about this? Thanks again for the
speedy response, Cheri.
