FLASH: newbie problem with sound

I have a problem with importing sound into Flash.


When importing  wav files it will import some files OK but with others

it refuses.

Whenit rejects a wav files it states that it doesnt recognise the file

format.


Doesn't seem to be any pattern as to why it rejects certain files but

not others (eg file size etc)


is there a simple answer.



Any help would be appreciated
