If the lack of sophistication of the front-end/preloader of this site is any
indication of the quality of the 3-day presentation, I'm not too disappointed
that I don't expect to be able to attend!

This Flash site has a preloader scene that takes *over a minute* to download at
56k. For that entire minute-plus, I had the distinct pleasure of observing the
letters l-o-a-d-i-n-g float around. Oh yes, and meaningless info was provided as
to the names and sizes of the individual DLs. Not even a @#$! clue about how
long the whole thing might take to DL!

*Newbies* take note: this is NOT the way to design a preloader. This is a way to
make your viewers wanna *go away*.
