I wrestle with this at times also. But in my arena (graphic design) I'm not
tied to a development tool, I'm tied only to the limits of my mind,
imagination, and problem solving skills. One reason our company is a success
because we've kept designers designing and concepting, which is what they do
best. We're tied first and foremost to great design and problem solving. The
tool is always secondary. A great graphic designer will thrive no matter the
tool that is used.
