You can import Quicktime into Flash but it lives outside of the .fla file.
Maybe easiest to import the Quicktime movie (including enough frames for the
movie to run to its entirety) and 'file/export image' it as a series of
graphics files. Then re-import it as a sequence of files (automatically
detected) and then remove what you don't want, frame by frame - careful of
file sizes though.

Subject: FLASH: editing quicktime movies for importing into flash
HI everyone bit of a problem. Can anyone inform me on how to edit a
quicktime movie as i want to remove some frames, then import them
into flash. Also, is it possible to import quicktime movies into
flash?
Thanks in advance,
JOhn.
