What you are missing is that ADSL only gives you high bandwidth coming in

and not going out which is low bandwidth. Therefore it is not suitable for

running a webserver where the high bandwidth requirement is on the way out.

ADSL is ideal for the punters cruising the web as their needs are mainly

downloading.
