I would say on the technical and project management side, experience is
always valuable and its usefulness never fades. While I don't have much
experience of other new media related qualifications, purely techy stuff
such as Microsoft Certification can have built in expiry and a certificate
for a two versions old operating system loses its appeal after a while
anyway ;O)

What I tend to look for is enthusiasm, then experience, followed by what
clients they have worked with. Qualifications are not high on my list.
Having said that, I have heard that Unis have started running new media
specific courses, anybody any experience of these? Any good?
