Duncan, from your comments it seems to me you have not read much, if any, of
McLuhan's work, especially not "Unterstanding Media, The Extensions of Man",
which IMHO is extremely insightful (especially when you consider it was
first published in 1964) and should be read by everyone working in this
wonderful industry of ours. Which part of his thinking do you find flawed?
