Hi Guy,
I ran into similar problems working with JPEGS in my last project. I'd get a
distortion when using a JPEG image as a background element but when I
swapped it for a GIF the problem went away. Someone else recommended
converting the JPEG to a symbol then breaking it apart on the stage. I tried
it and it worked.... so you may want to give that a try.
I'll say once again... I hope the problem with the way Flash handles JPEGS
is addressed in version 5!!
Good luck
Alan
