If you want something fast, cheap and easy, you can try
MS Access. It's good up to 30 concurrent connections
and works well with ASP. If you need something more
sturdy and are staying with ASP on the MS platform, you
can try SQL Server...there are a bunch of hosters out
there offering NT hosting with ASP and Access or SQL
Server support.

You could also try the PHP/MySQL route if you want a
quick, easy and cheap unix-based solution.
