the illustrator file is imported as a series of symbols or grouped items

stacked on top of eachother

the thing to do is change the arrangement (stacking order) of these symbols:


double click the main symbol so it opens up

deselect all

click on the top object (supposedly the black shadow bit) and send it to the

back (Ctrl Shift arrow down)


should work
